That said, I’ve shifted gears on materials, and now this thing spends most of its time acting as a very expensive obstacle I walk into at least twice a week. It deserves better.
Brand new, these run about $4,000. This one is basically new… once you wipe off the shop dust and a little bit of my regret.
Specs (aka the important stuff):
- 10’ frame
- 50” max crosscut / unlimited rip cut
- Designed for 4’ x 8’ sheets (plywood, ACM, aluminum, etc.)
- Cuts within 1/32” (which is tighter than most of my deadlines)
- Handles material up to 1-3/4” thick
- 3-1/4 HP, 15 amp industrial-duty Milwaukee motor
