Here's an interesting 6-foot collapsable stepladder. I think this was intended for RV use. As you can see in the photos it collapses to a 6-foot long by about 4-inch square package. This is a lightweight item and would be good for reaching an RV windshield or things around the house but I wouldn't use it for construction or heavy work. How about $30?
