REPORTS TO: Lead Video Producer-Studio Manager

PURPOSE

Support and assist in photography shoots, image processing and studio calendaring and maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Work closely with our Traffic Coordinator, Photographer, Video Producer and Art Director to maintain an accurate photography/videography calendar to ensure adequate production and post-production studio time.
•Assist with packaging photography and step-out photography as needed.
•Work closely with lead photographer and Art Director to process digital images for design and digital use, including color correction, clipping paths, cropping, resizing and retouching. Proof for color accuracy and quality.
•Maintain the Digital Assets Library, including using proper naming conventions, keywords, branded file structures and archiving of older assets.
•Utilize Workfront Project Management Software to stay current on all tasks.
•Continually inventory photoshoot equipment, props, products and supplies, both prior to and after photoshoots.
•Assist photographer and video producer in studio and on location for equipment setup, production and teardown.
•Help organize shot lists for accuracy and efficiency for photo shoots.
•Support lead photographer with preparing proofs for approval.
•Assist in booking talent and invoicing.

•General understanding of digital imaging equipment, cameras, lighting systems and software.
•General knowledge of studio productivity though organized shot lists.
•General knowledge of process images with appropriate cropping, clipping paths, color correction, editing, manipulation, resizing, and retouching.
•Entry level knowledge of Adobe CS6 suite with an emphasis in Lightroom CS4 and Canon DPP Software.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor's Degree in Photography is preferred; will consider Associate's Degree in Photography
•1-2 years of professional experience
•Portfolio demonstrating photography experience through a variety of projects.
•Excellent communication (written, oral, interpersonal) and organization skills
•Experience with Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Bridge a plus

COMPUTER SOFTWARE AND/OR EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, MACHINES
•Familiarity with Adobe CC with emphasis on Lightroom and Photoshop
•Apple iMac 27" Desktop and MacBook Pro with Apple Cinema Displays, external HDD's and Tethertools tethering equipment
•Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark II and Mark III
•Canon lenses 24-70mm F2.8L, 24-135mm f/4L, Canon EF 70-200 2.8L, Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 USM Lens, Canon EF 28- 135mm IS USM Lens, Canon EF 50mm 1.4
•Broncolor studio lighting power Packs and Broncolor lamp heads including Primo, Flashman, Hazylight/Mini Hazylight, Primo, Pulsospot4, Pulso-flooter, Lightbar, along with misc. AlienBees monolights including AlienBees ABR800 ring flash. Canon 580 EXII Camera Flash.
•Misc. grip and lighting modifier equipment for both studio and location production
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
•Digital Asset Management System - Portfolio
•Project Management System - Workfront
