With over 25 years of Electrical Construction experience, our staff at Electric Network Inc. has the experience to get the job done right! We are a licensed and bonded electrical contracting company that specializes in electrical panel replacements (Upgrades). Our primarily focus is Main Panel Upgrades (MPU) we successfully install well over 1,000 Main Panels annually. Main panel replacements require the experience necessary to coordinate with the utility company and receive city approvals needed to complete your project in one day. Not all electrical contractors have this experience. Even if the electrician is capable of replacing the electrical panel, if not all of the steps are followed properly the utility company can shut off power to the home for days or even weeks. Please check out our website atwww.electricnw.com for more company info and samples of completed projects.

Why Get Your Main Panel Upgraded?

1.Your panel may not be solar compatible. Depending on the PV system size a higher buss rating and or a solar ready panel may be required.
2. If your panel is older than 20years old, the panel should be serviced and possibly replaced. Older electric panel circuit breaker can fail to trip when there’s a short circuit or circuit overload. This problem has led to thousands of house fires across the United States. Older electric panel circuit breakers in the off position can still send power to the circuit. This can cause electrocution when working on a circuit that you believe is off. Older electric panel circuit breakers can melt to the main ‘bus bar’. This means the breaker can’t ever trip, even when there’s a short or overloaded circuit. So, if there ever is a short or other problems, the surge of power melts wires and can start a fire in your home.
3. If you have a Zinsco, Sylvania or Federal Pacific panel, your panel needs to be replaced. Please google the name and you will find that they are fire hazards and are responsible for thousands of house fires across the United States. These electrical panels were commonly installed in homes in certain parts of the country. These panels can work fine for years, but because of age and as homes have increased energy demands, these panels may overheat and portions of it melt.
4. Some insurance policies will not cover electrical fires if your electrical panel is 20 years or older.
5. If you need to increase your panels amperage because your home has increased energy demand or have added items like EV Outlets, Pool equipment, home expansion or other reasons.
