2005 Jeep Rubicon, Dana 44’s these axles came out my jeep that had 63,000 original miles and were built out 3 1/2 years ago. I am stepping up to 1 tons. This is a perfect opportunity for TJ/LJ/XJ owner to buy a set of fully built Dana 44 for the rig! I have been running 37 inch Mickey Thompson Baja Bosses with no issues!
Front axle
The front axle housing is sleeved and has inner C gussets with Terra flex heavy duty ball joints and Metal cloak, Duraflex joint axel bushings.
The front carrier is an ARB air locker with 4.88 ring pinion RCV 300 M axle shafts turning Power stop rotors with power stop pads loaded in the calipers.
Steering is handled by Curry Enterprises correct link steering, which is a heavy duty factory style Y Link set up a PSC steering ram stays with the axle. This is part of a kit from Black magic brakes that mounts the ram in the factory steering dampener location that has been reinforced,. which means you could run the ram or standard dampener. A heavy duty WFO differential cover.
Rear axle
The rear axle housing has an Artec industries truss the lower rear link mounts have been turned up for better clearance rear shock mounts have also been moved up. The upper mount is a Rubicon Express Y Link with no track bar. The Y Link joint will stay with the axle so if you choose to go to a triangulated rear suspension, you will have that part to help you get there .
The rear carrier is an ARB air locker 35 spline with 35 spline Chromoly axle shafts out to Power stop rotors and Power stop pads loaded in the calipers. ARB differential cover with dipstick.
Extra parts you will also get WFO differential cover, five on 4 1/2 1 1/4 thick wheel spacers five on 4 1/2 to 8 on 6 1/2 wheel adapters RCV axle rebuild kit, which is a new cage and ball bearings
