1998 VW New Beetle - $2,500 (Fresno)

I got this recently as it’s a dream car to own, but after speaking to a mechanic, I don’t think I can financially fix it anytime soon! Please read knowing this is likely a project car or car for parts!
THIS CAR IS NOT IMMEDIATELY DRIVEABLE! If you were to get the car, it would need to be towed or attached to a vehicle to be taken away! After talking to a mechanic, here are the mechanical issues:
-Rusted Engine
-Coolant holder leak, sway bar link needs new bolts
-Needs to engine rod
-WILL NEED NEW TRANSMISSION
-Likely needs new battery (was replaced in 2022 I believe)
Cosmetically:
-There is a small crack in the windshield
-Passenger side window does not roll up
Paperwork:
I only have the title, and the car was registered in 2025!
