The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for helping patients understand their recommended treatment, coordinating appointments, verifying financial arrangements, and ensuring a seamless experience from diagnosis through completion of care.
Key Responsibilities
Present and explain treatment plans in a clear, professional, and compassionate manner.
Coordinate treatment scheduling based on the doctor's recommendations and patient needs.
Inform patient of different materials "upgrades"
Verify insurance benefits & responsibilities; assist patients in understanding their estimated financial responsibility.
Review payment options, financing arrangements, and office financial policies.
Follow-up on pending balances due to denial/termination/downgrade.
Follow up on pending treatment and encourage patients to complete recommended care.
Obtain and document required consents and ensure all necessary forms are completed.
Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and communication logs; Financial notes.
Coordinate with the doctors, front desk, and clinical team to ensure continuity of care.
Monitor unscheduled treatment and assist in maintaining daily and monthly production goals.
Respond to patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Ensure all treatment discussions and financial information are communicated accurately and documented appropriately.
