Slightly used PDP Concept Maple drum set for sale. Complete kit includes: 22X24 bass drum, 10X8 rack tom, 12X9 rack tom, 14X14 floor tom, 16X16 floor tom. All drums finished in Red, fade to Black lacquer. Set only has 2-3 very small chips in the finish. Hardware included: 2 Yamaha cymbal stands (retractable boom), DW 3000 high hat stand, DW single bass pedal (modified to a long board), DW double bass pedal (again modified to a long board configuration), cymbal stand which mounts to the rack tom mount, The following cymbals are included (and will NOT sell separately!): 1960 Zildjian 20" ride (with which I played a LOT of surf music in the 60's) which shows only slight wear around the center hole with no edge chips or nicks and has the stamped logo; 1960 Zildjian 15" high hats (medium) with stamped logo and no damage, 8" Zildjian splash purchased in the last 10 years. A Cymbal Factory 22" ride is included which is almost new. Full complement of Protection Racket soft cases that are like new and a rolling trap case for all the hardware.

The snare has been set up with True Sound snare wires, Evans 300 hazy snare side head, Delrin slip washers under ALL lugs to allow smooth tuning. The heads show wear and you will most likely want to replace them at some point. My recommendation is to play the set as is and then see which way you want to go with the heads, dryer sound or bold sound. Personally I'd use Aquarian heads as they tend to stay in tune better. If not, then use a new set of Evans heads as I can's stand the sound of REMO heads. Sorry!

This is a professional set which has been used very little and played by my grandson. My price is firm. If you don't want it or can't afford it, please don't contact me for a buddy, buddy deal. This set is too good to pass up.
