I am selling my modified Charvel San Dimas Pro MOD V.
MODS:
Removed the active pre-amp, replaced with passive electronics
+Nordstrand NP5F precision pickup
+Nordstrand NJ5S hum cancelling bridge pickup
Honestly it sounds very similar to stock, just without the poor quality pre amp. If you prefer active, an active preamp could be added easily. I have the stock one, but I would recommend adding an aftermarket preamp instead.
I have played this bass on stage at church several times, and I have gotten several complements on how good it sounds by fellow guitar players and my audio engineer. It's unique, versatile and the slim neck makes it fun to play. I am selling it because I like to experiment with different basses - there is nothing wrong with it at all!
