1989 Epiphone S-310 Stratocaster Ebony - $480 (Clovis)

This S-310 features three Single Coil Pickups, a 2-Point Tremolo, a Maple Bolt-on Neck with a 42.5mm black nut, Chrome Hardware, an Alder Laminate body, and a rosewood Fingerboard with dot inlays. All three pickups have been replaced, saved, and stored. The original pickups are part of the sale if you choose to return the guitar to stock original.
The neck pickup has been replaced with a HIGH OUTPUT Kent Armstrong WPU12R “Howler” single-coil pickup at 7.7KΩ. It is a reverse wound Stratocaster Pickup, an Open RW/RPHot single coil with a big, punchy low-end response and cutting mid-range. It is and excellent upgrade for thin or bright guitars. The perfect pickup for the guitarist who prefers a beefed-up neck position and more tonal balance between other positions. Great for blues, funk, and rock with Staggered polepieces.
The middle pickup up is also a HIGH OUTPUT Kent Armstrong WPU12 “Howler” single-coil pickup at 7.7KΩ with the same specs as the WPU12R but without the reverse wound configuration.
The Bridge pickup has been replaced with a Kent Armstrong Chaos Series Dual Blades Humbucker Pickup in a Single Coil Case measured at a D.C. Resistance of 12KΩ and inductance 7.69 henrys. This hum cancelling, single coil sized pickup has been designed by Kent Armstrong to maintain the clarity and attack of a vintage single coil. All 3 pickups are ceramic bar pickups for a more vintage type of sound. Again, the original pickups are included in the padded bag if you want to go stock.
The Vibrato Arm, guitar strap and strap locks, original pickups, and a softcase are all included. This guitar was made in Korea at the Samick Factory in August 1988, Production Number: 28.
