Seeking an employee for ranch duties who enjoys working the land and the outdoors.
This is a live-in resident position.
For ranch duties, the worker must:
Know how to work the land and the fields, and enjoy doing so.
Be capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
Repair and maintain fences surrounding the property.
Install and maintain irrigation systems.
Manage weed and pest control.
Prune and maintain the property's gardens, shrubs, and trees.
Remove debris, weeds, and vines from around trees using hand and power tools.
Feed and water sheep, goats, and cows in the fields or in the barn.
Monitor water sources such as ditches, wells, cisterns, retention ponds, etc.
Follow instructions and tasks assigned by the owner.
Applicant Requirements:
1. Possess a valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
2. Professional appearance and positive attitude.
3. Good references.
