job title: Voice-over

Can you do voice-over work? Are you bilingual?

We are looking for a few talented individuals to do voice-over work for our safety training videos. Could it be you?.. Of course it can, YES!

Help us keep Central Valley Agricultural farmworkers safe by joining our exciting new startup! Be a part of the very first safety training video that will impact tens of thousands of farmworkers in California.

Requirements: Bilingual in Spanish and English. No experience in voice-over work necessary.

Here’s how it works: Simply record the paragraphs below in both Spanish and English using the 'voice memo' app on your smartphone (so easy you can do at home, NOW!) Make sure you speak clearly, as the effectiveness of the training videos depends on it.

These two paragraphs are ‘interviews’ and allow us to hear how you will sound in the videos.

Once recorded, text the two 'voice memos' to 559-352-8067. Also include your first and last name, and feel free to share anything about yourself you'd like us to learn about you or ask any questions you might have.

If your voiceover is selected, you get the job and will read the safety training script for our very first video for California agriculture!!!

Record the following two paragraphs with uplifting tone, welcoming yet firm. Good Luck!

Ready, set, go, PRESS RECORD… NOW!

1) "There’s a lot that can go wrong on a farm but one of the issues that results in the most injuries and the most insurance claims are slips, trips and falls. Falls are the leading cause of non-fatal farm injuries and in the case of falls from heights, can also result in fatalities.

Although preventing these might seem like it would be common sense, there’s actually a few tips you wouldn’t normally think about that can really help you to prevent injuries.

Hi, I’m (say your name) and in today’s video, we’re going to talk about how to prevent injuries and fatalities due to slips, trips and falls on farms. So without further ado, let’s walk on into it."
