Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Laser/Waterjet Operator to join our team. This role involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laser and waterjet cutting machines to produce high-quality parts.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor laser cutting machines and waterjet cutting machines
• Set up machines, load materials, and adjust cutting parameters
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Ensure precision and quality of cut parts
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines
Required Qualifications
• Proven experience operating laser and waterjet cutting machines
• Familiarity with CNC controls and cutting software
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with different materials (metal, composites, etc.)
• Knowledge of quality control processes
• Previous maintenance or troubleshooting experience
