Shiner is a 20-year-old (vet confirmed) gelding with a calm, easygoing personality that makes him a pleasure to be around. He is quiet and respectful on the ground, stands great for the farrier, and is an easy keeper with simple care needs currently.
Shiner is steady, dependable, and comfortable to ride, and he will occasionally gait. He is also not scared of cattle, making him a versatile partner around livestock.
Shiner does best with a confident rider. If you are searching for a trail horse, we do not think Shiner would be a good fit for a timid or nervous rider on the trail. But if you’re looking for a gentle gelding who is great to handle and dependable in the arena, Shiner could be a wonderful fit.
Please take into consideration that this is a 20 year old horse.
He is up to date on vaccines and teeth floating.
He just received a fresh set of shoes.
He is currently eating alfalfa and holds weight without issue.
