Selling 1 gram of perilla / kkaennip (깻잎) seeds per packet. Very similar to shiso (紫蘇) but has larger and flatter leaves. Plants are grown locally, in Clovis, and seeds are harvested every fall. Each 1 gram packet contains 200-300 seeds, it varies due to the variety of seed shape and size. Each packet is more than enough to get you started with your own perilla garden. The pictures of the plants are for establishing an idea of what you will grow. I am not selling the plants, just the seeds.

Can be mailed for free. If you would like them mailed I will need an address. I will reply with payment details and once payment is received I will mail the seeds the next day. Again, seeds only, I obviously can't stuff a plant into an envelope for $0.78.

I have been growing perilla for over a decade and have used my own seeds. Plants prefer partial shade, about 50/50. Grow very well in raised bed or containers with well-draining soul. Water lightly each day until you see sprouts, then every other day is fine. Pests are the fall cankerworm (green inchworm), grasshoppers, slugs, and snails.
