**Are you willing to talk about your experience of prison reentry and community reintegration—including your challenges, successes, setbacks, and goals?
**Are you interested in sharing your perspectives regarding the prison reentry process in California, what is and is not helpful, about various criminal justice system policies, and about how to best help formerly incarcerated individuals truly succeed after prison?

If so, you may be eligible to earn $50!

A Westmont College professor in the Sociology Department is seeking individuals recently released from prison to be interviewed and complete survey questionnaires for a research study on the experiences and perspectives of formerly incarcerated individuals. Topics covered in the interview and survey questionnaires include: personal well-being, social support, resilience, experiences of adversity and trauma, potential posttraumatic growth, desistance from crime, beliefs about people’s capacity to make positive life changes, your experience of prison reentry and reintegration, your perspective on prison reentry in general, your perspective on various prison reentry-related practices, policies, and programs, and your personal growth and goals. Surveys and interviews are CONFIDENTIAL. Participation in this study will last approximately 3½ hours. Research participants will be compensated $50 upon completion of the surveys and interview.
