For your consideration, my ultimate DJ rig for music. This combination of equipment serves me very well with no down-time and absolutely the best sound money can buy. I've used Altec, EV, QSC, Tannoy, EAW and JBL speakers during my many years of performing for guests and party goers, and this is the best sounding. The combination of electronics and speakers is cost effective, and dare I say it, easily moveable! Music comes alive. 112dB at 50 feet! I have used this system for 300+ people weddings and bar gigs. Never failed to get people on the floor dancing and enjoying themselves. First up is the main controller of the system: The Monoprice mixer and dual CD player. The mixer accepts CD's, external inputs, USB flashdrives and MIDI inputs. Volume, cross-fader and all controls are professional-grade for long term reliability. Next, the dbx electronic crossover is a great sounding piece of gear dedicated to dividing the stereo frequencies that make up the "rig". And finally, the Behringer 4-channel 6000 watt amp serves up the power needed to move the speaker cones to the limits they require. Two of the channels (1500 watts each) are for the midrange-tweeter cabinets. You "strap" the remaining two channels in mono to get over 3000 watts to the woofer. The Bag End TA-12 midrange-tweeter speaker is absolutely wonderful sounding with an Electro-voice T-35 tweeter and Eminence 12" woofer. And then there is the subwoofer. It is an Eminence 18" with a 4 inch voice coil capable of extreme low end and plenty of thump. All cables included. Truly a wonderful sounding, powerful combination for all of your musical needs.
