HarperRand/CalRegional is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Certified Phlebotomy Lead Instructors for an established Phlebotomy program in Fresno. There are two part time day positions currently open for our "full time program" and Saturday courses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Instruct students in all aspects of the Phlebotomy Technician scope of practice.
Evaluate, report and record student performance and progress.
Prepare students in a 72 hour class to go on to a 40 hour externship in a lab or hospital.
Assists students to develop an understanding of values, attitudes, and ideals appropriate to the health care profession.
Provides a professional role model for students.
Current California CPT License.
Must have 3 years of documented on the job experience in a CLIA lab within the last 5 years.
1-3 years of teaching experience preferred.
Must be proficient in all aspects of blood collection including capillary, syringe, vacutainer, and butterfly methods.
Must be comfortable with speaking to large groups, multi-taking and critical thinking.
Efficient with computers and technology.
Organized and detail oriented.
Preferred Qualifications (not required)

Salary: $30.00 to $32.00 /hour
