Healthy, five and a 1/2 week old, orange and white kitten needs a responsible, loving home. She was a rescue and has been raised with lots of attention and care. She's very bonded to humans, funny and feisty. Trust me, you'll fall in love. If you want to adopt her, you will need to pay a $50.00 adoption fee which WILL BE REFUNDED IN FULL later if you spay her and send an email update (this fee is meant to deter people who pick up kittens to sell for pitbull training or medical research). Please answer these three questions when you email: 1) Why do you want this kitten? 2) How do I know you'll keep this kitten and can provide a stable home? 3)Can you afford to take care of her (not just food, but vet bills if needed)? I assume anyone who recognizes pet ownership for the responsibility it is (and how precarious the independent adoption process can be), won't mind these requests.
The advantage to you is the kitten has been screened/monitored by a vet, is already box trained, has not been exposed to all the health risks of shelters (viruses, feline lukemia, etc.), and handled contantly which has made her absolutely social. She's also been exposed to two healthy indoor cats, so if you have other pets she's ready to make friends.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: I've been receiving countless emails requesting that I ship this this kitten out of state to some unknown party - there are plenty of shelters with homeless kittens in every state, so I find this creepy and unecessary. I will not ship this kitten out of state or anywhere else for that matter, so please don't ask.
