We have a dog( he's still a puppy) that will be 1yr in August. He was named Shadow because he will follow you around everywhere. We need to find him a good new home. He is a fun and playful dog. Very active and great with kids. He loves to play fetch which sometimes turns into keep-away( he will bring the object back to you then run before you take it from him hoping you will chase him). He loves to be around people and would love to come inside if you let him. He hardly ever barks and loves to give kisses. He sleeps in a crate at night(which I will give to his new owner) and sometimes during the day to nap. He knows a few commands like sit, off, down, etc. I think he would be fine around other animals. He might be a little shy around them at first but he gets along with the neighbors dogs. I think he is almost full grown and would say that he is a small or small/medium sized dog. When we adopted him from the SPCA they said he was a German short haired pointer/ Terrier mix. He has one blue eye and one brown. His coat is mostly black with some white which has black freckles in it. He has a chip and has been fixed. With all of his good/great qualities, keep in mind he is still a puppy and has puppy behaviors. With a little bit of work, or puppy school, he will be a great dog. The kids love him very much and are sad about this decision. We are hoping to find someone close then maybe the kids could still see him on occasion. He needs someone who can give him more attention than we can and work with him more than we have time for. Please let me know if you would like to meet him or know someone that might be interested in giving him a home. THANK YOU!
