I have put together a online weight loss group.
We have been doing it for a couple of weeks now and it's been going good. I wanted to see if anyone else out there would like to join us.
We weigh ourselves every Friday and send the results to me. Every Monday I post the weigh in results.
During the week I send out emails with tips/facts that I have learned by reading diet books. We are trying to cut back on carbs and sugar in our every day life.
We are also doing an exercise challenge. The winner of the challege each month will get a little prize in the mail. It's for motivation, to get us to strive to succeed.
This group is about having fun and losing weight. If you would like to join the group email me and I will send you and introduction to the group so you can make up your mind if you would like to join.
I have had three kids and am over weight, that's why I started this group. Motivation is key in losing weight.

So I am posting this as a personal search for other people suffering from Ulcerative Colitis or Crohns Disease. I do not currently belong to any type of support group for this although I have been diagnosed with UC for approximately 5 years. I am not necessarily looking to set-up meetings per-say, although its not out of the questions, but mainly just looking to network and communicate with anybody who might be going through what myself and millions of other people around the world are silently suffering through. Even after dealing with my condition for 5 years I am just now realizing how hard it can be to be 100% open about the symptoms and how the flare-ups work and the direct effect the embarrassing symptoms have on sufferers daily lives.
To make it clear, I am not a doctor or even very educated on this condition, I am simply somebody who has been diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis and is looking for people in a similiar situation that might want to share stories or facts or just bounce questions off of each other. Any responses to this ad would be much appreciated and I look forward to meeting new people and being able to extend and receive much needed support. Thank you.

I've been in search of a single mothers group. I am a first time mom due in the fall. I would like to join with other single moms who are struggling with depression, or having faith, financial, emotional, etc struggles. It could be a support group. or if there is already a group like this let me know so i can join.
just trying to keep my head and prepare so i can be the best for my son and would like help and to help others in any way i can.
